So... I am in my new condo in the Arts District. We are still unpacking and arranging things and planning our renovations for the summer, but already life is dramatically different in amazing ways. I have started writing my MA applications, which feels borederline intimidating and amazing. I have started a photography project, uploading one photo each day to my Facebook account. This project has been aided and abetted by my partners generous surprise of an iPhone in November - there is something amazing about having a camera and an internet connection in my phone. I have never had a camera phone before (I know, I know, don't look at me like that). J and I are planning on going to Las Vegas for a trip in February and I will get to see Cher. I am pretty excited about that. I got a gym membership and find it suprisingly rewarding. What else? Nothing much... I am hoping to get more art uploaded, but I have some other projects on the go that aren't art focused. So I could be on hiatus from Deviant for the next while - my New Years resolution is to not pressure myself to do everything all at once.

You are an intrinsic part of my ability to post art online, serving as a communicative highway between the digital camera and the outside world. Without you, I am often stuck an an impasse, foiled in my actions, bereft of the proper tools to complete my given task. This says it all, really. Credit to the ToastMaster for putting on the canvas the thoughts in my head before we ever spoke.

I am in the process of packing and moving, both figuratively and literally. It's been interesting. Mostly it is coming out in the art as either cartoons or abstract things. Or bookbinding. That was good... I am here, just not too social with all that is going on. Message me or give me a call if you need me. I don't anticipate many uploads of new things between now and moving to the new place, as my studio is being packed up so we can stage the room as a bedroom. But creating will still happen.

So I got an email today saying that someone retreived my deviantart password from the lost password function... It wasn't me. And that is weird. So I changed it.
